PROJECT: Abecedarium Art Show
ROLE: Strategist, creative producer

W+K 12 is an experimental advertising agency inside Wieden+Kennedy’s Portland headquarters. Along with 12 artists, writers, designers, entrepreneurs, and schemers, I worked on a range of collaborative projects that strived to blur the line between art and advertising.

Partially inspired by Wieden+Kennedy’s creative culture, partially inspired by our own creative ambitions, we created a 26-print Abecedarium that consisted of lessons we hoped to learn and live by as a collective. The twenty-six sentiments and designs in the show were meant to inspire people to get out, take risks, and make more stuff.

THE SITE

We created a website to invite people from all over the world to enjoy the artwork. Each piece was featured on the site with interactive content that delved into our process of making the individual letter. The site also doubled as a store, driving interested art buyers to our Goodsie site. All proceeds went back to W+K 12 to encourage us to keep making more stuff.
