Homemade Society is a wandering supper club made up of a community of chefs and hosts in Portland, Oregon. Every quarter, we pair up-and-coming local chefs with off-beat homes to create meals for a good cause. In the spirit of sharing, people in the society are meant to pass on their membership to future diners and all proceeds are donated to a charity of the Airbnb host's choice.

Supper at the Croft | December 2015

Our inaugural dinner tool place at the residence of Vail and Greg, two eco-conscious farmers who live in the breathtaking surroundings of Portland's wildlife refuge known as Sauvie Island. Their modern farm house and rescue sanctuary sits on 5 acres of land overlooking the majestic Mount St. Helens. All proceeds went to The Croft, their non-profit situated on the property

An Evening of Many Courses | June 2015

Our next meal will take place at the tiny home of James and Kyra. Completely built by hand by them and Kyra's father, the home reflects an easy Oregon style with a hint of industrial charm. To benefit living small, all proceeds for the event will go to MicroCommunity Concepts, a grassroots organization that strives to provide safe, sustainable and affordable homes for underserved Portlanders.
